Hey I'm Diego :)

I'm passionate about technology and software, particularly about toying with emerging technologies. Most recently I've been building projects with Typescript, Javascript, Serverless technologies, Firebase, React, Node, Kotlin, Java and Android.

In my spare time you will find me learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, dancing salsa or playing guitar.

These are some of the most recent projects I have been working on:

Javascript/Typescript

I've mainly worked using React, Node, Express, Serverless, MongoDB and Firebase.

Deepflow

Fitmind Client

Fitmind Admin Client

Cloud Computing / Serverless

I've mainly worked on it whilst working at Capital One and as part of my Nanodegree in Cloud Computing.

Serverless Udagram

Serverless project built for my Nanodegree, technologies used: Typescript, Serverless, AWS, S3

Udagram Feed API

Microservices project built for my Nanodegree, technologies used: Kubernetes, Docker, Typescript, Node, Express, PostgreSQL, AWS, S3

Udagram User API

Microservices project built for my Nanodegree, technologies used: Kubernetes, Docker, Typescript, Node, Express, PostgreSQL, AWS, S3

Udagram Reverse Proxy

Reverse project repo built for my Nanodegree, technologies used: Kubernetes, Docker, NGINX.

Java, Scala, Kotlin

Most of the work I've done in the JVM has been around solving algorithmic questions.

Kodr Algorithmic questions

I'm working on creating a set of essential programming questions for programmers to know before going for interviews. This is mainly based around the book 'Cracking the Coding Interview' and 'Leetcode'. The plan is to translate this website to as many languages as possible and make these resources available to people who don't know English.

Kodr in Kotlin

Since starting to work on Android, and due to the rising popularity of Kotlin. I've decided to also translate questions for this website into Kotlin. It is a simple project anyone can clone and run in their IDE. Is built using Gradle.

Software Design and Programming Masters Module (Scala)

This projects was done in Scala, and it covers the Fundamentals of Software Design with a large set of exercises

Android

Coming soon! I'm still tidying up projects and documentation.
